Hi All,

Has anyone successfully created an automatic email with paystub report attached that is sent thru a business event when the regular paycheck is released?

I am referring to PR641000 that you generate directly on the individual paychecks.

Hi - I was just working on this last week for a client. Is there anything specific you are curious about?

Hi, Thank you for the reply. I just need some help with the setup. Currently, the email that is being sent attaches a blank PR641000 report. Do you mind sharing your setup?

Yes, I have created them for our payroll clients. I use a GI to pull the information as shown below.

The conditions of the GI

The Business Event will use an Email Template that will attach the report as shown below.

I had problems with the blank report too until I got some help. I created a new version of the PR641000 report, and then I had to expose the parameters as one of them (PrintFlag) did not have a Prompt and was defaulting in NOPRINT.

Once I changed the parameters, I tested my report to make sure that if I ran it on demand, I could select the parameters I wanted.

And then once that was working, in my Email template I set up the report to attach and put in the parameters to use, and now I can get a result to show up in the attachment.

I hope that helps!
