Hi Everyone.

On a sale of a company within a Group, how do I delete and remove all data relative to that entity in a Multi-company, single Tenant environment?

I am using the AU version of MYOB Acumatica.

Hi @Axial ,

Can you try below-

If you simply want to prevent anyone from posting new transactions and hide the company from selection lists, you should deactivate it. This preserves the historical financial data for reporting and audit purposes.

  1. Clear Pending Items: Ensure all open documents, service orders, or pending transactions associated with that entity are closed, billed, or resolved.
  2. Remove Dependencies: Deactivate any entities linked exclusively to that company/branch, such as Warehouses. Ensure the branch is not set as a "Default Branch" on any Customer or Vendor profiles.
  3. Deactivate: Go to the Branches (CS102000) or Companies (CS101500) screen, uncheck the Active box, and save. If the system prevents you from saving, it means there are still active dependencies or open transactions that must be cleared first.

Hope above helps!!
