I am trying to create a Selector Type Attribute, to use in a User Defined Field, in Cases.  The purpose is to select from a list of sold Serialized Items to track cases for warranty.  Any ideas?  I have tried various tables, but none provides a resulting list of serialized items.

Thank you

I don’t think you’re going to be able to accomplish this with a UDF. Serial number is not a selector, just a text field. Unless you can think of a place in Acumatica where a Serial selector already exists, I think you’ll need a developer to build one. I’m assuming you just want to store the serial number value?

Hi @debbiereed72

Let me ask, what do you mean by "Serialized Items"? Have you created “Serialized Items” in Acumatica yet?

Have you tried setting the User Defined Field as "InventoryItem"?

Best Regards,

NNT

Thank you, NNT, but this does not provide the Serial ID.  Just the Item #.

Try INLotSerialStatus

Thank you, Daryl.  I tried that one as well - it does not include Serial ID as a selection.
