Hello All,
We have a scenario where we would like to trigger a business event whenever a change is made to the Customers (AR303000) screen. So, whenever any changes are made by any of the clerical employees in the Primary Contact section, the customer status should get converted to Inactive and the clerical employees should not be able to change it to active. And then a notification shall be triggered to the manager for approval of the changes and this manager would have the access to mark the vendor record as active.
Can we achieve this without any customizations? Please share your thoughts/suggestions

Regards.

Hello @Harry ,

Without any customizations (or Business Events or Notifications), Access Rights can be set to View Only on the Primary Contact fields of the Customers screen for all employees who don’t have rights to update Primary Contact.

Access Rights to the Primary Contact fields of Customers screen can be set to Edit/Insert/Delete for the Managers only.

Employees may request Primary Contact changes from their manager.
