Question

Has anyone implemented a 9/80 (split-Friday) schedule in JAMIS Prime?

Hi — we’re exploring a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off) and want to use the “split Friday” approach so each workweek still totals 40 hours. JAMIS Prime runs on Acumatica, and I can’t find a public example of JAMIS clients doing this. Has anyone here implemented 9/80 in JAMIS Prime (which screens they used, e.g., Timesheet Schedule / Time Card Profile / Overtime Rule), or can share a short description of how you configured it? Thank you!

Greetings! Looking around, I see we have had a handful of clients with a 9/80 schedule. Go ahead and reach out to Support@jamis.com and we can take a look at some specifics!

 Hi,

Steps for creating 9/80 Timesheet Schedule

Timesheet Schedules

  1. Old Schedule-Create Stub period to close out the end of old schedule, then close all other generated schedules not used or delete them.
  2. Create new Timesheet Schedule for 8 day and biweekly pay starting from the time that you want the schedule to begin.
  3. Create Timesheet Profiles for Hourly and/or Salary.
  4. Create Employee Types
  5. Create Employee Earning Group
  6. Update employee Template with new Employee Earning Group
  7. Update employee record (Template, Earning Group, and Profile)
