If I am wanting to use a statistical ledger for headcounts, what is the recommendation for how those values are recorded in Acumatica?  Is it by entering only quantities or debits and credits?  If quantity, how do you report on it?  If debits and credits, is there a way to just enter monthly totals and not have them aggregrate?  I am trying to create a way for our HR group to just enter monthly headcount figures against specific HC categories, so that we can then report off those values.  We also have Velixo.  i have tested but can’t seem to get quantities to pull into any reports or Velixo formulas.

Hello,

You may enter debits or credits in a statistical ledger, representing quantity.

If your numbers change frequently and you don’t want them to accumulate, I suggest using automatic reversing entries to enter each month’s figures.

Figures in a statistical ledger may also be reported, used in calculations in Excel with Velixo.

Any ability to just use the quantity fields and report on them?  I know it will let you enter them that way, but the reporting part is a bit harder to figure out.

What I am looking for is just a way to enter total headcount each month versus turnover values.  If I have to do it via reversing entry I guess that is one way, doesn’t seem quite as clean but it definitely would work.
