When I complete a Comment or Instruction on an appointment, why does it remain as Requires Scheduling on the SOR?

This seems to be causing issues with closing SORs since we have all these comments & instructions showing on SOR as Requires Scheduling but they are marked as Complete on the underlying appointment.

Hi!

The thing is that comment and instruction lines are kept with requiring scheduling status so that they can be added to any appointment created (becuase if they get the Scheduled status, if you create multiple appointments, they would only get copied to the first appointment only).

As @maybellebulahan84 said, completing the service order automatically completes all the lines (including the comments and instructions). If it doesn’t, then it’s an error from the system.

It doesn’t seem to update automatically. What you can do is to manually change the status or click the Complete button on the form toolbar which will cause for all the comments and instructions to be completed as well.
