Our client sells a serialised item that has an expiry date. The item becomes an service equipment. We need to see the expiry date on the equipment record.
It seems that all that is available is a warranty expiry but this wont work as the expiry date is set by the manufacture whereas a warranty runs from the date of the customer purchase.

I would suggest adding an attribute for the Equipment Type for the expiry date. You can then manually add this information on the Service Equipment record and show it in reports/inquiries.
