Field Services Roles in 2024 R2

Hello:

Does anybody knows if there are any field services roles define in the 2024 R2 version of Acumatica? and if there are not, Which I can use to define the service role?

Hi all!

Dermot is right, there are some out-of-the-box user roles for field technician and field manager in sales demo (this applies for all Acumatica versions, not just 2024 R2).

Please search for SERVICEMGR and SERVICETECH in the Access Rights by Role screen, or in User Roles.

    ​@ehernandez I dont believe there was but in the U100 (could be Sales Demo) dataset there is a ServiceManager and ServiceTech role setup might be basis of what you need

    Since it doesn’t sound like they’ve added any, I’ll just echo dcomerford’s response--when we went live (on 2023R1) we copied these two roles over to our production tenant.  Our VAR handled that, I’m not exactly sure what the process was.  They did require a decent amount of tweaking for our business.
