Appointments will not unclose

When I try to unclose an appointment I get the following message. Another process has updated the ‘FSAppointment’ record. Your changes will be lost. Is there any way to stop this from happening? It is preventing me from being able unclose appointments.

If you use the external tax provider and the document shows the warning that the tax is not up-to-date, you can  try to deactivate the external tax provider and unclose  the appointment

 

Thank you for your help that seems to be it. Is there a way to update the taxes so I do not have to deactivate the external tax provider every time I need to unclose an appointment?

Unfortunately no, you need to unclose the appointment to get taxes recalculated by the external tax provider.

This is the known issue and it will be fixed in future updates of Acumatica, see this knowledge base article for more details.
