Update promise Date on Purchase Order after approving document and do not require re-approval

If your business requirement is that buyers should be able to edit the Promised Date directly on an Open PO line without putting the document on Hold or re-submitting it:

In Acumatica's Customization Project Editor (Modern UI / Workflow):

1. Open or create a Customization Project.
2. Go to Screens → PO301000 (Purchase Orders) → Fields.
3. Navigate to POLine.PromisedDate.
4. In the Workflow State configuration:
   • Locate the Open state.
   • By default, all line fields are disabled/locked in the Open state.
   • Override the field property for PromisedDate in the Open state: set Disabled = False.
5. Publish the customization.
