Cannot Confirm Shipment - Order is Stuck

Forum|alt.badge.img

Hello,

I have several shipments that are stuck.  Bare with me as this is blowing my mind right now.

  • Order Shipping Rule is set to Ship Complete
  • Order has a partial Shipment on it - Don’t know how that is possible.
  • Partial Shipment has been sent to Shipstation, and completed in Shipstation, and pushed back shipment info into Acumatica.
  • Partial Shipment cannot be confirmed/completed because the SO Shipping rule is set to Ship Complete.
  • I cannot change the shipping rule (or anything) on the order because it is in Shipping status. Top 10 biggest pet peeves with Acumatica.
  • I cannot delete the shipment because it’s already been completed in Shipstation.

Mind.  Blown. Suggestions? Screenshots below.

Thank you,

Nathan

@nathankeating  I think you have only one option it seems, that you need to deploy a script to change the Shipping Rule from Ship Complete to Back Order Allowed.

Please note that this is fixed in 24r1 version https://community.acumatica.com/supported-releases-67/acumatica-2024-r1-downloads-and-release-notes-22964.

Here is the description of a fix:

On the Shipments (SO302000) form, a shipment could not be confirmed and an error was shown, if the sales order had the Ship Complete value in the Shipping Rule box and the order contained a line with 0 quantity (for example, a non-stock item).

Similar situation to this:

The one trick you might try is deleting all the line items in the shipment but don’t delete the shipment itself

This opens up the SO so you can modify the shipping rule or any other settings. Then, go back to the original shipment and add the sales order back - making sure that all the items/locations are the same

I don’t have working knowledge of Shipstation’s integration, you may loose package level data in this process. If it’s possible to re-sync from Shipstation maybe you can reconnect those data?
