Simple Handheld For Warehouse Stock Item Movements

​@nshah90  If understood correctly you don’t want to go with the WMS module, then I would recommend going with a lightweight custom mobile solution for internal inventory movements.

A simple approach would be:

• Scan/enter Inventory ID
• Scan/enter From Location
• Scan/enter To Location
• Enter Quantity
• Automatically create and release the Inventory Transfer document in Acumatica

This can be designed specifically for handheld devices, making it very quick and user friendly for warehouse staff without the overhead of full WMS functionality.

Benefits of this approach:

• No WMS license/module required
• Very simple workflow
• Faster user adoption
• Can work with standard barcode scanners/Android handheld devices
• Minimal training required

Depending on your process, we could either:

• Create standard IN Transfer documents behind the scenes, or
• Use Inventory Adjustments if movements are only within the same warehouse/bin structure.
