Someone knows why Restrict entities and groups for customers and users, doesnt work for Reports and GIs? They work fine for entry forms but not for for GIs.

Are the reports where Restriction Groups do not work custom? I noticed this previously posted Idea states that Restriction Groups are used automatically unless the reports/GI’s are custom:
If the reports are not customized, please show examples of how the Restriction Groups are set up, and the results in a report, and we will help further. Thank you.
