I was wondering if there was a way to prevent a shipment from being created on a Sales Order that has no Ship Via and/or Shipping Terms selected? Unfortunately we have a problem with sales reps not doing due diligence to check the Shipping tab prior to creating a shipment and it creates confusion and time wastes in the warehouse when a pick ticket prints with no shipping information on it.

In the Sales Order screen, the Terms field is mandatory by default, whereas the Ship Via field is not. To make Ship Via mandatory, a minor customization was required.
I’ve implemented this customization and attached the customization package for your reference. Please deploy it in your instance and verify the behavior accordingly.
