Is there any table in Acumatica which stores Average cost history

Short answer: No — Acumatica does not store a historical table of Average Cost values for a stock item.

Here’s how it works instead:

• With the Average valuation method, the system does not keep a history of each unit’s cost. It only maintains a single running average cost for the item.
• Every time a document is released (receipt, issue, adjustment, transfer, kit assembly/disassembly), the system recalculates the average cost and updates the current value.

What you can view:

• Inventory Transaction History (IN405000)
  • Shows released documents by date
  • Shows the unit cost used in each transaction
  • This is the closest thing to a cost history.

So in practice:

• Current Average Cost = stored on the item
• Historical cost values = visible through transaction history, not a dedicated average-cost history table.

INItemCostHist for period-based inventory cost history. It stores historical quantity and cost balances, from which you calculate average unit cost; it does not provide a snapshot of average cost after every transaction
