I carefully named the column headings in the GI ready to Import to Power Bi and then when Imported there are different column names. Why is this and how can I resolve this?

It looks like it is pulling in the fields used for the table relationships as well.

I do have one column that I can't find where its coming from though.

I just tested this and it looks like it is using the Caption if you have one or the Display Name from the DAC if you don't have a caption specified, but it is removing the spaces between the words, so Order Nbr becomes OrderNbr. I don't know of a fix for this other than renaming the columns in Power BI.

It also seems to struggle with some special characters. It turned # into _ for a column that we have a # in the caption.

That's very interesting because today I have found that it is bringing across what would appear to be hidden columns or columns that aren't visible in the results grid. And for example the column headings are inventory ID-one-2-3-4. And yet some of these columns are the system code for the inventory ID or for the location or for a customer reference and yet it has titled it inventory ID all very strange and don't know how to get to the bottom of it
