Acumatica 2023 R2 autofill / search does not recognized a space.

When I enter a customer name it will match the first word but after a space it completely goes blank.

Ex.  Customer name - Discount Store

Discount will list all discount but after a space it goes blank.

Discount St will go blank too.

Hello @Nelson Yip !

When I attempted to recreate this issue in my Instance, I noticed that the search was able to properly find customers and records with spaces in their names. Is it possible that your instance doesn’t have Search Indexing set-up properly? More information here:


I would ensure that both:

  • Semantic Search is enabled
  • Search Indexes have been recreated

Thanks for the problem, after upgrading to 2023 R2 the search condition changed.


Site Preferences

Search condition was defaulted to Start with and I changed it to contain.
