Acumatica 2023 R2 autofill / search does not recognized a space.

When I enter a customer name it will match the first word but after a space it completely goes blank.

Ex.  Customer name - Discount Store

Discount will list all discount but after a space it goes blank.

Discount St will go blank too.

Thanks for the problem, after upgrading to 2023 R2 the search condition changed.

 

Site Preferences

Search condition was defaulted to Start with and I changed it to contain.

Hello @Nelson Yip !

When I attempted to recreate this issue in my Instance, I noticed that the search was able to properly find customers and records with spaces in their names. Is it possible that your instance doesn’t have Search Indexing set-up properly? I would ensure that both:

  • Semantic Search is enabled
  • Search Indexes have been recreated
