An error message is coming up the Leads section for the field called Source. Does anyone have an idea what might causing this error? See below screenshot. There is no approval workflow setup.

Can you show, please, the screen shot with the drop-box open so we can see the available choices for Lead Source? Here is an example from Sales Demo. I used Delay feature of Windows Snipping Tool to capture the choices for Lead Source. ‘Outbound sales’ is not in the list of lead sources, in my Sales Demo. Next step is to see whether it is in your list of available sources. Thanks.

 


@FrancesPantelidakis24 - is appears the lead source is a predefined list that can not be changed via the user interface….. the following is from the help…

Source The source of the lead. You can select an option from the predefined list, which contains the following options:
  • Organic Search: The lead came from a search engine. For example, the lead searched for your product or service by using a search engine.
  • Campaign: The lead has been created as a result of a marketing campaign (for example, the lead opened a landing page, clicked a paid link or called an advertised phone number, or was purchased from a marketing vendor).
  • Referral: The lead has been created as a result of someone recommending your organization or its products or services to the lead.
  • Other: The lead has been created from some other source.
  • Web: The lead has been created as a result of visiting your website.
  • Phone Inquiry: The lead has been created as a result of a phone call to the lead.
  • Purchased List: The lead was purchased from a marketing vendor.
