Routing Sales Calls in CRM

I have a prospect that needs the ability for their sales people to map out sales calls when they go to an area.  For example, I am flying to Ohio for a week, and I have 25 customers that I need to see.  What is the best route to minimize drive time from each customer and what is the best order of go?  

They do not need Field Service only CRM…

@darylbowman has a cool customisation which may help you with this. It plots locations on a map for you based on Generic Inquiry results, you/your sales people can then use this to map out their journey’s.

It is important to note it does nothing with route planning at this point. Only visualization.

Hi ​@cherryw10  We do not natively have a function such as you describe with Acumatica CRM.   It sounds like ​@darylbowman ‘s  customization may provide a neat visual that could at least make it easier for identifying a good route based on the pins. Although I currently have no in-app CRM solution for you, I know there are websites where you can upload a list of addresses and it will provide best routes based on the uploaded addresses. Depending on your sensitivity to uploading information, that may be something you could consider for the immediate.  

 

I would also like to ask the folks reading this if there is a broader ask for this functionality.  Feel free to provide use cases and feedback.
