Print Report in mobile app?

There is a ‘Print Quote’ button on the mobile Acumatica app. Has anyone gotten it to work?

Just got a notification ‘Uploading to Acumatica...’, apart from this nothing happens.

Hi @kokjietan 

Do you have DeviceHub setup for printing?

I don’t have errors when trying to print, I just do not have printer set up for this account, but you should be able to do as you did and Print Quote.

 

 

Are you even able to see the PDF?

Sorry, should have clarified we were trying to view and print the Sales Quote as PDF, not to a physical DeviceHub printer.

On my part, I can’t see the PDF nor the screen in your second screenshot (‘Save to Files’). Is there any prior setup that needs to be done on Android?

Hi ​@kokjietan. I was having the same issue on a different screen, Purchase Orders (PO301000), where I could click the “Print Purchase Order” button, but nothing happened. 

 

In my case, the PO report screen (PO641000) was not available on the mobile app. I had to manually add the screen and update the sitemap to get it to work. Now, this shouldn’t happen for Sales Quotes because the print functionality is native to the original mobile app and doesn’t require customization, but I’ll share the steps that worked for me in case you’d like to troubleshoot.

  • Open the customization project editor
  • Check the main menu under Mobile Application to see if the sales quote report (CR604500) exists.

 

  • If CR604500 doesn’t exist, then proceed by adding the screen into the Mobile Application section and update the menu. Just follow the below screenshots and replace PO641000 with CR604500.
