The use case is:  The customer requires 2 locations one is ship to a plant to modify/build the item and after it is shipped to a job site for sub projects

You can use the customer locations to add a location under the customer then you have the ability to pick the location one the document.  We use it mostly for billing and service orders on  project.  We will have a project with multiple locations where work is being done.  So the Project shows Main for locations but then we setup the 2 different sites as locations under the customer.  When we create an invoice  or shipmet confirmation we can pick that specific location.

Hey there, @elisemorban11 - Are you communicating this through the Shipment Confirmation?  If so, you can put the Project Address in the Notes section of the Shipment if you don’t need this for any other text, then perhaps change the Notes label in the report designer to “Project Address.”
