Hi,We are creating PO Variance Approval Maps our logic is belowUser create PO and system check approval case, it is working fine Now user receive PO at this stage PO against receiving have variance if variance accrue then system asked again for originated approver of the PO Above 2nd step every thing working fine but i cant get originated approver name can you help me

Attributes for Equipments

Hi,Could you please anyone provide a quick guide to add attributes to Equipment form. When we add attributes to the customer/stock items we add to the customer/Item class. But here in equipment, there is no class and the plus button is not enabled to add attributes. Thank you,Dulanjana

files and folders - can we have folders within the files tab?

We run the projects module extensively and it would be great if we could have folders within the "files" tab for all the files we need to store against a project. Is there a way to do this, or a SharePoint integration anywhere that might provide us with an option?

AIA Report (PM644000) - Issue when Project Task invoice Separately

We are having an issue with the AIA Report (PM644000). When we have the Project Tasks selected to be “Invoiced Separately”, the Main page of the AIA Report is including the entire contract values (all Project Tasks), instead of only including the amounts for each specific project task. The Continuation page is exact & only shows the Project Task that is being invoiced.Is there an easy way to have the AIA report be project task specific when Invoiced separately is selected? Is there a way to access files that are attached to an invoice from outside?

Is there a way to access files that are attached to an invoice from outside? We have synced all invoice to a payment portal.Many customers want to access the original document that our accounting upload to the invoice in Acumatica as attachments. I cannot find the table that records the relationship for invoices and files. any advice, please. Many thanks advance.

How to deploy a customization project from a local instance to a different Acumatica erp?

Hi, I have a customization project which has been developed in my Local instance of acumatica erp. now I need to deploy this whole customization project in a different acumatica ERP in the cloud. How can I do this?Once I tried this using import option in the customization projects but it didn’t allow me to do because of exceeding the size. below screenshot for the reference.Is there any other way to do it? Can someone suggest me the solution or send me any guidance resource?Thanks.

Accrue cost on Projects -- would like to use a drop ship method if possible

Hi All-- I have been searching for various process methods to accrue costs on a project until we’re ready to invoice and so far I’ve found (1) best outcome and another (2) that semi-works but realizing day by day, it’s not going to work. (1)This method will have users create a Project with Inventory Tracking = ‘Track by Project Quantity and Cost’ Then create PO using STOCK items, this is a must, where Type = ‘Normal’Then create PO Receipt, this will DEBIT INV and CREDIT ACCRUE PURCHThen create AP Bill, this will DEBIT ACCRUE PURCH and CREDIT APThen create Issue, where Cost Layer = ‘Project’, this will DEBIT COGS and CREDIT INV (Sweet spot)Then create AR Invoice, where DEBIT AR and CREDIT SALES (2)This method will have users create a Project with Inventory Tracking = ‘Tracking by Project Quantity’ or ‘Track by Location’ .. meaning ‘Track by Project Quantity and Cost’ will cause an error Then create PO using NON-STOCK items where Type = ‘Normal’Then create PO Receipt, this will DEBIT INV

Acumatica Time Keeping/Job Costing

Anyone out there using Acumatica Construction module with external time keeping? Looking to connect with companies that are using partner software for time keeping to get some advice, pros / cons, etc. of these solutions. My company just started using Acumatica ERP and currently integrate with WorkMax for our time keeping solution. We need to have employees clock in/out in real time and we are starting to do job costing, but are struggling with that. Any suggestions on time keeping software or on how other construction companies have Acumatica set up and do job costing would be very helpful.

Subaccount structure - Construction

Anyone have ideas on a good subaccount structure for Construction - Electrical subcontractor. I see that branch, service type (revenue) and dept (expense) are typically used in Acumatica especially in the training guides. However, with a smalls subcontractor department really aren’t used. Most costs are linked to a particular job/project and expenses are simply company-wide overhead. Only one type of segment makes sense--service type. Anyone have other suggestions that I can consider? (Thank you in advance!!)

Approval Map is unable to assign to Bill PO Owner

When an approval map condition is set to "AP Transactions > PO Number > Is Not Empty", the approval map engine is unable to assign the approval. Have I done something wrong in the approval map? This started after we upgraded to revision "20.217.0022". Could this be related to the known issue on approvers? Step 1 is never assigned: Step 2 is reached instead: Thank you for your help!

Construction programs vs. projects

A client implementing Acumatica Construction Edition is awarded contracts involving multiple similar projects which they manage collectively as a program. For example, a national retailer may award them a contract to perform the same work at multiple stores (sites) across the country. This is conceptually similar to projects and subprojects. Have others encountered similar use cases? How have you implemented them?Implementing the program as an Acumatica construction project isn’t ideal because each site has its own project address, project manager, subcontractors, schedule, etc. On the other hand, Acumatica appears to not have a way out-of-the-box to group projects into a program.

Default Branch for Projects used for AP, POs, Expenses, Transactions

Any expenses and documentation associated with a project should follow the default branch of the project, not the branch you happen to be in. It is unrealistic for every employee to change the branch they are in to put in an expense for that branch. In Project Management and Construction in general, the project branch should rule all. We have to change the branch on every expense, payroll, AP, Subcontracts, POs, and project transactions. Every company I have talked to that uses branches in the construction industry has this same issue. I talk to many potential clients and this is something they are concerned about to. This requires a TON of back end work to correct every entry that gets put in by employees not in accounting. Especially anyone using the App. There isn’t an EASY way to change the branch on expenses put into the app.

Multiple WIP accounts with Progress Billing

In the construction edition using Progress Billing is there a work around to use multiple WIP accounts? We currently set up our projects with multiple costs codes using different account groups to each Task. We want to use WIP for proper accounting, however the issues lies when we go to invoice a project task we can only select 1 WIP account group to apply reversing transactions. This means all of our project transactions (material, labor, other) must be grouped in to a single WIP account to ensure all these transactions are reversed upon invoicing. We then loose transparency of the project costing having only a single costing account to view until invoiced. This doesn’t seem to be a problem using Time and Material billing method, because we don’t have to select a single WIP account on the project task.

Is there a way to create custom statuses for change orders? I want my PM’s to know exactly what each thing means and sometimes “on hold” and “closed” don’t tell them exactly where it is in the process.

Automatically generate project ID from Opportunity ID

Customer wants project ID to reflect the numbering sequence on the Opportunity ID without the 2 character “OP” prefix. As example, Opportunity ID is OP210026, they would want Project ID created upon conversion of Project Quote to be 210026. I didn’t think this was possible, but curious if it can be done using segmentation and OppID as first segment of Project ID Numbering Sequence. Thanks!!Claire

Customer Specific Rates for Projects

hi,any recommendations of a workaround (without customization) that would allow projects to use customer specific rates for specific items? i know i can create rate tables for items (which i have set up to use the price from the item) but am trying to figure out a streamlined way for negotiated rates by customer and item.i have tried to have the billing rule talk to the revenue budget unit price however, currently, that is not a field i can select (I can only reference the unit rate on the cost budget):
