When we use the tool in the Acumatica Partner Portal to request a sandbox for upgrading a SAAS customer, can we upgrade more than one major version (ie from 19.1 to 20.1)? We recently used the tool to create an upgrade sandbox but found that we could only upgrade on version at a time. Is it only possible to create a sandbox for upgrading more than one version by filing a support case? If our customer is moving up two version we don’t want to have them go through the upgrade process twice.
All the addresses in Acumatica are 3 lines - Address line 1, address line 2 then city, state, postal code and finally country. Our international customers require at least one more line of address. As per example:In this example the Finance Department is an attention line and is not part of the address. I could squeeze the first 3 lines into 2 lines but it is just not correct and I would be certain it would slow down any package delivery.

I have created numerous service order types for all of my customers but now I would like to delete of them for each customer I have. It would take too long to delete them one by one. How do we delete Service Order Types tied to a customer in one shot? Could it be done via an import scenario? Also, how do I add more than one service order type to a customer in one shot using an import scenario? I know how to add one type to all customers but how do you add 3 or 4 types to all customers at the same time? How do I adjust my import scenario for this?
Hi I am trying to configure the Path, Login and password for the Synchronization Type of Shared Folder and no matter what i try it gives me an invalid URL or a 1326 error. Can anyone help with the syntax of the Path/Login please. Does this only work if Acumatica is installed locally?
Hello,A client requested autonumbering based on a inventory class.I adjusted Segmented Key to include the inventory class as Segment 1 (AAA format) and defined its keys. Added Segment 2 as numeric (6 digits) for auto-numbering.Also defined numbering sequence for the segment 2 and selected auto-number. The issue I have is auto-numbering is not sequential within an inventory class.So if I create item BBB<NEW> after AAA000001 it saves the item as BBB000002. How that can be set up so the numbering is sequential in each Segment 1 value? Best regards,Mike
I’m struggling to add a new currency field to my SOLine DAC. ErrorsWhen setting the value on any of the SOLines, if the value is >=100, then I get this error.CustomizationHere’s how I added the custom fields: I created two fields, a UsrSalesRepUnitCost and a UsrCurySalesRepUnitCost, with the following attributes in each. The “Database Scripts” section in the customization project window indicates the both of the custom fields are using the `DECIMAL(8, 4)` datatype, which I would assume would allow values as high as 9999.9999. QuestionsWhy am I getting an error indicating that the value 150.0000 is too large? Have I properly configured the two custom fields to accurately work for representing currency? I couldn’t find any resources in the documentation about creating custom currency fields.
Hi All, @Tim Rodman , I have setup a Multistep PO Approval where I cant get the second step to work. The first step is for two users to approve where I have used the “Collect All Approvals….” (Rule Actions\On Approval which works fine). If the PO is < $15,000 then it need not go further and can be approved.The second Step is where I am having the issue. I have read the documentation and applied the rules but am still having issues. Please see attached for setup.Any help appreciated.Cheers,Laura
This is our first private cloud installation and though everything is accessible locally (the install was done on a virtual app server with a connection to a virtual db server), I am unsure of next steps to be able to access acumatica externally via chrome. What would the client or we need to provide/set up in order for the site to be accessible like this?I’m assuming they would need to provide certs for https, purchase a public IP address to bind the site to, and we would just need to configure the site under IIS with that information and the hostname (something like acumatica.customerdomain.com). But I’m unsure about all that and whether there needs to be something needed to be done with the domain. Can someone break this down for me? I don’t have too much experience with this sort of implementation. Thanks in advance!
Hello,I have a test/development Acumatica instance running - Build 21.116.0049 . My Acumatica Configuration Wizard is version 21.108.0032. When I try and perform Application Maintenance, it says that work with that instance, I need to use a newer version of the configuration wizard.However, I cannot seem to figure out how to update the Configuration Wizard. I downloaded the latest installer from Acumatica, did a repair (since there was no option to update) with no success?How does one update the Configuration Wizard with interfering with the Instance Itself?
Hello, we are having issue with getting Acumatica to print out the shipping label using Fedex integration. DeviceHub with printer and scale is connected to Acumatica, communicating, no issue there. everything is good until the end when we want to print the label(it is set to auto-print), it just gives us a downloadable version of label in .zplii format which we cant do anything with it. would be more convenient to have it print right away when shipment is confirmed.access rights, default printer, stock label and other settings are all good. using Zebra label printer.
There is a Quick Checks screen (AP304000). It is maintained with predefined workflow.I need to customize some actions of the workflow.Just in case, I use 2022 R1 version.Examples, to be specific with my customization needs:When is invoked the Release action, I need to write the quick check amount to my custom table. When is invoked the Void action, I need to delete the amount from my custom table.I don't need to change the workflow. I need to expand activities that are done by the present actions.If to customize actions properties with the customization editor. On the Field Update tab I have access to the fields of the Quick Check screen only.When to customize via code. There is no place to declare action body. I know how to extend a regular graph action – declare delegate, then in the extended method invoke base method.But how to extend an action of a workflow?
We are looking to have the vendor ID auto populate with a strictly sequential numerical code. Is this possible? Would not need and letters in the ID, strictly numerical classification as we create a new vendor. We are just now setting up the system and have not gone live yet. Currently, we have been unable to make this happen.
Hello, I wanted to change about 1000 of our vendor’s from one vendor class to another using the Mass Update function of the standard Vendor GI. When I go to do it it fails with an “Error: Update button disabled”. Any chance someone here has run into (doing any function) that or do I need to open a support ticket? I am on 2020R2 with the following build and customizations. User Is set to View ONLY Access for Several Workspaces but still is able to Perform Actions on a ItemUse Case: Set ROLE Access for a Screen/Form to ‘View Only’ Ex: Purchases Orders from ‘Access Right by Role” It is assumed that for Purchase Orders this ROLE/USER can only VIEW PO’s but not Edit them.By default all FIELDS and ACTIONs within the FORM are set to INHERITED. However, the ACTIONs on the PO are still Available and can be utilized: for example, an open PO can Receipted or be Put on HOLD. Since this is VIEW ONLY access shouldn’t ACTIONS also be VIEW ONLY? And this inadvertently gives ACTIONABLE / EDIT access to user that should be VIEW ONLY. This is a security Flaw and Has been caught in client Compliance AUDITs The only way I’ve been able to counter this is at the FORM Access Level is to REVOKE the ACTION ITEMS Is there any way around this? Shouldn’t VIEW ONLY apply to ACTIONs as view only also? IS this a BUG? Shouldn't this be fixed? NOTE: This applies to ALL FORMS
Hello Community,We have configured the Approval Maps for the Bills and Adjustments screen and it is working fine. However, the Approver is currently able to see other documents as well. How can we configure it so that the Approver only sees the documents that require their approval? Any help highly appreciated!!

Do any of you know of a way to get emails sent out to a person/workgroup when a task or event has been entered with them as the owner? Seems like this should be a functionality but I am not finding any answers to hopefully make this a reality. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

We have a device hub setup for scanning documents, but all the documents keeps scanning in duplex but the config is set to 1 sided scanning Scanner: fujitsu sp1130Driver: Paperstream IP (TWAIN) Scanner is tested and working correctly on the Windows side and no duplex problem Any suggestions
While working through System Email Accounts, the processing of the associated emails, toying with the idea of implementing Incoming Mail Processing, I’ve come to find that, no matter the enabled or disabled features, Acumatica is keeping a copy of each account’s emails, as seen in the defined Root folder, in their entirety. Is it normal normal for the system to keep a copy of every email of each System Email Account even when it does not get linked to a Contact? Note that Incoming Mail Processing is off for all accounts. Assuming I haven’t done anything wrong, this presents a few concerns… record counts, db space usage, and security, to name a few. Anyone have any insights and or suggestions? Thanks a bundle for your support ;-)
