Why are emails stuck in Emails Pending Processing Screen?

Hi! What would cause emails to be stuck in Email Pending Processing Screen?

I am using expense approval email template to automatically send email to approvers that there is an expense pending approval. Some emails go out fine, but some remain in the Emails Pending Processing screen. When I hit the ‘Process” button, no error is given, and email goes out perfectly. 

But is there a way for email notification to send out automatically without having to hit “process”?

To avoid this issue Acumatica recommending to set the automation scheduler for email pendings process which are stuck.

 

 You might need to setup an automation schedule for emails pending processing.  By default, emails sent go to await processing so it is best to setup an automation schedule that sends outgoing emails on a regular basis.

To understand better, is there a specific reason why some email gets stuck in this screen and doesn’t go out automatically like others?

@jzhu Sometimes it will got stuck, have you been running send/receive all process screen to go out the emails? if not setup a schedule a send all email in the acumatica,
