I deployed a production environment (with a license) on 2024R2. When I open a Customization Project using the Customization Project Editor, it is extremely slow and almost unbearable. However, other operations in this environment seem to have normal performance—only the Customization Project Editor is very slow.
By contrast, the same project refreshes normally in my testing environment (without a license). Why is this happening?
There shouldn’t be any degradation in performance going from test to prod, unless you have an awesome machine that runs your test environment!
It could just be due to not opening screens before in the prod environment for which they need to be loaded and that can take longer but only for the first time.
