Does anyone know how often Acumatica backs up our instances when they are hosting them?

Do they keep any historical backups or just the most recent?

Nothing wrong, just a general inquiry. (see what I did there?)

Hi! You can find the answers here https://www.acumatica.com/acumatica-saas-faq/

We take backups daily.

Several concurrent retention schedules have been implemented:

  1. Daily backups are retained for 4 days.
  2. The last backup of each week is retained for 4 weeks.
  3. The backup taken on the last day of the month is retained for 4 months.
  4. The last backup of the quarter is retained for 1 year.

This is from the current version SaaS FAQ as of 3/19/2026

Backups are performed automatically at no extra charge. All transactional data is backed up daily on a rolling backup schedule. Additionally, incremental backups of transaction logs are performed frequently throughout the current day. All backups are replicated to an additional geographic zone for an additional layer of protection and disaster recovery. Access to backups is provided for a fee or by purchasing an optional backup access service.

Note it says there are Transaction Log backups.  Assuming the previous Full is valid and backups are configured properly, you potentially could restore the Increment log backups against it.
