How do I change the associated email with this forum account? I’m swapping companies and wish to move it to my personal email. I went into account settings etc and didn’t see anything about changing the email.
I had previously asked how to use workflows to create an import from an inquiry. I now have that working, except instead of importing the rows as line items into one document, each row is making it’s own document with a single line item.I tried to Google the solution, but the solution says to set the order number as a static value that will be converted by the system to the auto-number. This value needs to be the same for all the rows. My inquiry is driven by a container number. All the rows have that value and it will be exactly the same. So in my import, my order number is the container number. The output files are auto-numbered, but should only be one document, not 5 or 6 documents with a single line.I have attached my import scenario here for ease of use. I’m new to business events and was wondering if the following is even possible.I want to add a business event to take an inquiry and upload it as a new document (sales order of type TR). Not to edit an existing one, which is the use-case I keep seeing online.I’m creating Sales Orders of type TR from Purchase Order data.Here’s the hooks:The inquiry MUST have a user defined parameter (container number)I then want my user hit some kind of button to trigger the upload from the data that now exists in the inquiry.Is this possible?
When you have an inquiry, you can copy-paste the data from the fields in that inquiry into a screen.I use Purchase data to build Sales Orders and I need to copy-paste a date. If EVERY digit is filled in, this works like a dream. If not, this goes very poorly. Can we force zero’s on dates so that copy-paste works as intended and doesn’t just give out bad data? Example of a BAD date: 1/3/2022Example of a GOOD date: 01/03/2022 Here is the issue: SOURCE INQUIRY (copying ETA field) DESTINATION FIELD Due Date, after copy-paste (without exiting the field): If you click or tab out of the field: So now instead of copying the correct date, it slapped in the day of “today”, but on the proper month, but then also applied the wrong year. Obviously, people who are constantly copy-pasting are going to miss this, and it creates a large burden of work on our end. Can we get dates to work like they should please? Hopefully, I’m just missing a setting somewhere :D
Sales Orders used to have a REPORTS drop down menu where I could add in reports etc. I seem to be missing that now with the upgrade to 2021 R1. How do I re-add the reports drop down button?
I have a report who was exporting just fine to Excel and PDF. However after rolling out a large swathe of customizations changes between myself and my VAR, the report does NOTHING when I click export to PDF or export to Excel. Anyone know what might cause this or how to fix it?
How do I check for a data type in the generic inquiry screen? Like iif( ISNUMBER([FIELD]), True Path, False Path)I have an Inventory Item Attribute that USUALLY holds an integer value. I wish to do math on this value when it is an integer, but when it is a text string it crashes the report. If I could do some kind of error checking like in Excel, I can force this to work by using IIF to ignore non-integer values.
How do I set my payment terms at the vendor location level? I see it on the umbrella, but I pay an agent (umbrella), who controls many factories (locations), each with specific payment terms. How do I set these termsat the location level?
I have a set of sales that I wish to isolate and reclass to a different account. Has anyone done this before? I’m not sure how to handle the shuffling out of one account into another, the finance segments in ACK have always been a weak-spot for me. Any help is greatly appreciated.Longer explanation: We started up a new division, but we didn’t know it would be it’s own full division until it grew. So now I need to take the sales for those items and put them to a new class to show a new profit center on our P&L. I can find the old/new accounts and sub accounts easily enough, but actually deducting from the old account and attaching everything to the new account without wrecking my system has me a bit nervous. Is there an easy way to disable the RELEASE button in Inventory Adjustments for a specific user? If not, how do you set a role for this? I have this role shared with many users, so I’m hoping not to make a duplicate role with this single field disabled in it if possible.
