Thank you Debbie!
You are welcomed to enter it as an “idea” - probably much quicker for you to do @Debbie Baldwin !!Thank you for the swift reply!Greg Brazelton
Thank you for your additional information @jeremyd45 When I worked with Acumatica, I think we also discovered that if you cleared the vendor information from the Stock Item tab, then MRP seemed to respect the manufacturing Max Qty. That doesn’t work for my client, because then you have no default vendor for your purchase items which is a bigger hassle than the min/max behavior.Greg
thank you @Ali Jani - I don’t think I stumbled upon that more straight forward list in the help files. Greg
Thank you @Debbie Baldwin and @Brendan Hennelly for the call!Your answers shall get me a little further along! Greg
Thank you @johnshaddix38 - I will need to check that out in 21 R2 - I think what I finally did was a Reason Code (type Receipt, account was actually the COGS account used in the original issue) Looking forward if 21 R2 has the slicker Reverse option. Greg
Thank you Vijay - this was already solved by Ezra9 - I had previously done all of your steps, but it seemed to be the browser bookmark the user was using must have had the screen 00000000 saved in it. By using @ezra9 idea of manually typing in the company URL only, this resolved the home page dashboard issue.Greg
Thank you again Ezra9 - user must have had some extended info in the Acumatica shortcut, changing to just the minimal URL seemed to resolve the issue of seeing the Welcome to Acumatica screen at login and instead the user now is seeing the correct dashboard at login.Greg
Thank you Ezra9!I did your suggestion and notice that user has the left menu collapsed, so it appears that the login takes her to the correct dashboard screen, but just has the menu selected in the foreground. If I hit escape to close the menu or if I click the company Logo - it is on the correct dashboard screen.Thank you for pointing me in this direction. I see what is going on now!Greg
I understand and agree HOW to set the user home page. But I am working on an example where we are setting the home page for the user, and the user is able to pull up the dashboard manually (no permission issue), but upon logging in the user is just getting the default Welcome to Acumatica page. Tried changing the user to a different accessible dashboard and that one also does not pull up as a home page.
Yes - changing to Edit Only is working as expected now! Thank you.Greg
Thank you Ed, I will try that again. When I changed that setting before, it did not change the behavior of the checkbox, but I will try it again.Thank you,Greg
Thank you Olga! I knew of that for posting to closed periods, but not for unlocking periods. Looks like that did it!Thanks,Greg
Just in case you do not know how to look it up on the Acumatica screen, if you hold <Ctrl>+<Alt> your cursor will change to a ? symbol when you hover over the field in question, keep ctrl alt pressed and click the field to see the Element properties
Maybe more complicated, but the DAC column is Customer.MailInvoices (in case you were searching for the word send)
The address validation from Info-Sourcing has worked extremely well for one of our clients. And the turnaround for some coding changes were handled immediately!
