If you are looking for this information to pull the data to a GI this is stored on the RQRequest DAC, specifically Location ID. RQRequest.LocationID which is a foreign key to CR.Location, the Location DAC. Hope this helps!
A Generic Inquiry is a powerful tool designed for users to retrieve and display data from the Acumatica database without the need for complex programming or database knowledge. It's a user-friendly way to create custom queries, reports, and dashboards. Generic Inquiries are quite powerful. If you are looking to gather data from different areas of Acumatica Generic Inquires are a great place to start!
InventoryID is a required field from a database level as it is the primary key. Could you share more on your reasoning for this formula as it might not be needed? Your first formula is correct FIELD <> Null is a valid expression so once we know more about use case it will be easier to determine why you are not seeing the result you expect. Similarly for a generic inquiry you can use the conditions tab to indicate FIELD | IS NOT EMPTY
Hi! @DanaJohnson the attached GI should get you most of the way there. Hope this helps!
If wanting to group by attributes have you considered joining the CSAnswers table? That would allow the field to exist in the core data set and not function as a virtual field.
Interesting find, I was able to validate your results in my 2023R2 sandbox. Have you tried exporting an Import Scenario for Sales Categories from 23.112 as XML and Importing into 23.206? I would expect it results in a screen not found error but might be worth a shot.
This is fantastic, thank you Doug!
Is the template ID selector functioning correctly when running the report? Could you share some screenshots and possibly the .rpx file? Thank you!
That is odd! Double check the odd-user-out is using the correct tenant and report. I have seen this before when a user pulls from the incorrect tenant or the screenID/reportID does not specifically match. If you make a small change to the report ‘TERMS’ → ‘TERM DESC.’ do you see the change reflected for all users and only the formatting is missing?
Hello @lawsont In your join conditions set the AttributeID equals =’ATTRBID’ Where ATTRBID is the attribute’s ID. Hope this helps!
The best way to determine what data is copied is to export the snapshot as XML, extract the ZIP and review the individual XML files. There is also information about what is included in each snapshot type in help.
