Is there a way to sync stock items already in Acumatica with Shopify SKU’s without creating duplicate item numbers in either system?

Using Acumatica Shopify Connector

If you’re using template/matrix items, the sku has to be labeled, in shopify, at the variant level in order to match.  Otherwise the template will create a whole new structure for the matrix.  Screenshots always help troubleshooting.

When ACU syncs to shopify it looks for the SKU.  If it finds it, it makes the connection without duplication.

Are you seeing something different?

Can you upload some screenshots, preferably your shopify item page with the sku field visible and the acumatica stock item, and the shopify setting tab for inventory

Ok - so the SKU is at the Variant level.  Does that make a difference?

Some items its at the item level and some have it at the variant level.
