Our purchaser often receives new pricing for items and we would like to update the cost of goods before we place a purchase order. I understand that last cost of goods is updated upon the inventory receiving process, but how can we update costs without placing a purchase order?

Most of our items are FIFO and I see that “Last Cost” is an editable field. Is that the best way to update costs?

Thanks!
