We use Apruvd on our Shopify store to protect against fraud on credit card orders. Does anyone know of a solution (Apruvd or something similar) that integrates well with Acumatica?

Hi @smarenich & @Jeff96 - to clarify, what we have with Shopify works fine for our ecommerce orders; what we’re looking for is a fraud protection service integration with Acumatica that we can use for orders placed directly within Acumatica.

Check this out. I have worked with them in the past (not in Acumatica)

Hi @mikeho

Could you please elaborate, how would you prefer to have an integration with Acumatica to work? What part of the process do you need to see in Acumatica?

Hi @smarenich,

The way it works for us in Shopify is the order is placed and the credit card is authorized, then Apruvd reviews the order and either approves or declines the card, and if approved the payment is captured.

We would be looking for something similar - at the very least the fraud protection solution would review the order/credit card and approve or decline the card; if approved the card would be charged and the order shipped, if declined the order would be put into an on hold/review status for our finance department to make a decision on it.

This would need to be something where sales reps can’t bypass the fraud guarantee process, it’s a required step on every credit card order.

Hope that helps!

Is there anything that is changed in the order between order placement and card approval? For example, status or tag?

In theory, you can apply filtering on the importing orders and do not import the order to Acumatica, unless it is approved.

@mikeho Ok, got you. I’m not aware of such services for Acumatica, unfortunately.
