Connector Seems to adjust inventory to 0 if negative

Hello,

I noticed recently that if the inventory is negative, the connector ‘adjusted’ the inventory in Shopify to 0. 

 

 

Since both systems normally handle negatives, does anyone know why this would occur?  it's 25R1
