Does anyone else struggle with filtering the SYNC HISTORY screen when you have 10’s of thousands of records?  I consistently get an error that the request times out.   Even on specific tabs like failed/processed etc.

Hi @kkeating24

The issue here is that there is no index on the Local ID/ERP ID fields. The indexes are present only on the External ID and the External Description fields. If you search by those, the results are fast and do not time out.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Sai

interesting, but that doesn’t help if the item has not be synced to Shopify yet.   Maybe this is an idea? or is it not feasible to index the ERP field?

Yes,

we have normally added this as a customization for some of our clients where we faced this issue persistently.

It is a good idea to have, may be @KarthikGajendran  help push this up :)

What I usually do is export that screen once a week to excel, then find the Sync Record ID, and filter based on that.

i have done that in the past as well.  right now it takes almost 13 min. for the file to download with one of our clients as they have 38K+ records.   so every time I try a prepare/process function I have to then download again...

I have also noticed this behavior.
