Authorize.net Support and Deprecation in Commerce module

Does Acumatica Payments have a Magento module?

Magento is not the native connector to Acumatica. So would like to know if the ISVs started to work with Acumatica Payments.

The Kensium Connector for Magento supports Acumatica payments. Auth/Capture, Void, Refund.

Note that, as of now, it does not support fresh authentication within Acumatica on a saved token. We are working on it. When I have an ETA, I’ll post.

How can Authorize.Net work in the Commerce module if it’s not supported otherwise?

Because the transactions are originated in external system(BigCommerce/Shopify), connector just syncs them into Acumatica, and Acumatica will allow to capture, void and refund. 

In Acumatica, only Authorizing the transaction is not supported which will be accommodated in external system. 

​@KarthikGajendran Not all of our orders come from Big Commerce. So, does that mean would we have to operate half on Acumatica Payments and half on Auth.net? Managing 2 different payment processors doesn’t seem like a good solution for a business.

Also, we don’t capture until we ship which could be a few months down the road. Which means we would need to reauthorize the card in Acumatica because the authorization would expire. What would we do in this case?

​@KarthikGajendran Could you guys please extend further support of Authorize.Net until you have full support for Acumatica Payments? We need to be able to validate and save a card on a customer as we don’t capture until we ship.

​@KarthikGajendran is there an update on this? We are migrating to 25R1 right now and need this resolved with BigCommerce so we can continue to process payments in a compliant fashion with Acumatica and BigCommerce per Acumatica’s requirements.

We are still currently working with BigCommerce to make the Acumatica Payments work. In the meanwhile, we will continue to support Authorize.net for both ERP and eCommerce systems(Shopify and BigCommerce).

​@ramakrishnan91  Yes, you must configure Auth.net in Acumatica.

but in case if the customer is in 25R1 version, they will not have the option to enable the Auth.net plugin.

​@KarthikGajendran ​@variuxDavidE There is now a solution that has been released. I reached out to our dev team to see what is needed to be able to get this in your hands to support your integration needs. I will let you know once I hear back. 

Tayana has a module that replaces the default auth.net capability in Acumatica that works with 24R2 and above. I have not used it yet. 

I’ve built a series of processes and automations in Acumatica to enhance the existing Auth.net functionality, including a customization that allows generating a payment link from the sales order screen. Once I finalize my changes, this should allow a very strong enhancement and long term solution for those who want to or have to stay on auth.net. 

Stay tuned, I’m probably another month away from having those dialed in where I’m ready to share outside of my existing clients.

​@schott61 regarding, BigCommerce, I am told they are in the process of adding beta users. They expect to have this live by end of October. Would you like for me to see if we can add you as a beta user? Shopify, we are still in development and don’t have an exact date yet. I would expect end of November for that.

For BigCommerce, I have a couple of customers who would likely be interested in becoming Beta users.

We are about to update to 25r2, Retail Edition. Just wanted to confirm ​@MatthewDAnjou74 that Auth.net is still active? Do we need to do anything special when requesting our sandbox to ensure this feature remains enabled?
