Is it possible to only sync the on hand inventory from ACU to Shopify without updating any other field in shopify for the sync’ed SKU’s?

you can use the entity mapping to <<unmap>> any fields that you do not want updated.  otherwise, not sure how you’d accomplish this.  Product availability needs to know what sku it is updating availability for.

just know that if you UNMAP the description the SKU has to be there in Shopify or it will error as description is a required field.

If i understand correctly, the Product Availability entity should only sync availability.  It does not update any other field.

That being said the Item has to be synced so it knows which SKU to update...as long as that link is made it should work.  Am I missing something?

Thanks @kkeating24 yes, I agree with you however, once we link the SKU, (which is not dont yet) we do not want ACU SKU descriptions to overwrite Shopify SKU descriptions or touch other data fields in shopify what so ever.  Once the SKU is syned then correct, the production availability entity will only sync availability.
