What are the most common issues you've encountered with tabular reports or tabular subreports?

This one is pretty open ended, so please feel free to share. No issue is too small.

There are certain things that I like Tabular Reports for, but there are certainly some areas for improvement. 

  • Not being able to have lines/formatting print through empty sections (i.e. if you have shading or top/bottom lines)
  • Not being able to get a “total” column 

     

  • Tabular reports won’t print as a Sub report:
