Using SQL View in Report Designer

Hi,

Is it ok to use SQL view in report designer. Whether Acumatica is planning to remove that option is near future ? 

Is there any other option other than SQL view, if I want to aggregate transaction quantity in released status for YTD and last year.

Hi @snath ! There are no plans that I know of to reduce functionality around SQL views.

A couple other options may be to make a custom table instead of a view or use variables within the report to total the amounts (unless you are wanting to bring in the already summed amounts).
