Task Template Related Entities

I want to link the task created from this task template to an Opportunity but ((CROpportunity.OpportunityID)) doesn’t work because the help text says to use “Attach Activity”. Does anyone know where I can find the “Attach Activity Checkbox” that is mentioned in the help text for the Link to Entity field in Task Template is?

    Hi @astramathis30 ,

    You should be able to use “Link to Entity” if it is available on the form.  The “Attach Activity” checkbox will be displayed when it is required instead.

    It think the issue is with your fieldname.  Try CROpportunity.NoteID instead.

    @lauraj46 sorry, my copy/paste copied the wrong one, I tried NoteID yesterday and it also didn’t seem to work. I’ll put it back in and try generating an opportunity that would fit the criteria again:

    @lauraj46 CROpportunity.NoteID doesn’t work, I’m going to try ((CRQuote_quoteNbr)) but since ((CROpportunity_opportunityID)) doesn’t work I doubt this’ll work either. @Chris Hackett you’re an Acumatica pro, any ideas who I can ask?
