Report Designer - Reset Line number


Hi,

Does anyone know how to reset line number to 1 in PO641000? The number in my report is starting with number 5 because the previous records were deleted. How do I reset it to 1?

The report is currently starting from 5
In the system, the previous records before 5 were deleted.

Hi @danursha44 ,

Like Laura said, LineNbr is a rolling number that keeps going.  I’ve had luck with just switching that field over to SortOrder in some reports, which is the dynamic numbering of how they show up in the entry screen.  Might be worth a try as well.

Hi @danursha44 ,

I'm not aware of a way to reset the line number on the PO screen, but you can adjust the report to number the lines sequentially by using a formula.
