Hello,

We are experiencing some issues on our development machines.

I open a report from the live tenant. Then I modify it and save it as new version in test tenant. The report is saved as new version in the live tenant.

Client’s Acumatica version: 24.108.0034

My Report Designer version: 24.207.0011

Does anyone know what may be causing this issue?

Any help will be appreciated. :)

It’s because of how the log-on function has changed between 24R1 and 24R2.  I have to run both 24R1 and 24R2 report designer on my device as I support clients on both versions right now.  You’ll need to save the report from the correct version of report designer.

Hi @HristinaP77,
when you are saving the report, you had to provide the username and password in assume that you use name is admin and you need to save the report in to TEST tenant, in this case you need to provide your username as admin@TEST

you need to provide the tenant's name also as above

Hi @HristinaP77 ,

I also saw this same behavior with a site once, but I didn't make a note of the versions at the time.  I would recommend opening a case with support.

Hi @HristinaP77 , Please try connecting Report Designer directly to the test tenant before opening or saving the report.

In Report Designer:
File → Open from Server → Select the correct test tenant URL and open the report from there.
Ensure that the Site URL in Report Designer matches the test tenant URL.

Hope this helps!

Hello @PDharmasena10,

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I am using the correct user name. We started having this issue in version 2024. We did not have any problems before.

Hello @Ankita Tayana.

Thank you for your reply. I want to open the report from the live tenant, modify it and then save it to the test tenant.

If I try to connect to test tenant first, then connect to the live tenant and then open the report, it opens the report from the test tenant.
