Has anyone successfully created a GI based off of other GI’s as the data source? I am able to add them as data sources no problem, but I am getting “Object reference not set to an instance of an object” error when trying to join the sources. I’ve checked to make sure the fields are existent in the database on the DACs I am joining. I am joining on inventory ID from both generic inquiries. Any advice or further documentation on best practices when joining two inquiries?

@courtneyb It might be helpful to see the two GIs to know for sure, but can you post images of your joins as well as the tables used in each GI?

Uploading the GIs might be necessary to test, but I think at least seeing the joins will be the most helpful to understand the error.

@BenjaminCrisman  Yes. I’ve tried many different ways. Here are the joins I have tried.

Hi @Chris Hackett . I was not able to find a solution in this particular instance. But, I was able to join simpler inquiries using GI’s. Is there any documentation that Acumatica provides on best practices when joining GI’s since it is a new feature of 24R1? That would be extremely helpful!
