I want to click a button and print a report without the preview page, without the Windows print page. I don’t want to use Device Hub. Are there any other ways?

@mos11 Unfortunately No, We tried to get this approach but did not work, so we did a customization to print the report using a processing screen directly to device hub.

@mohammadnawaz51 Can I do it with 2 clicks? Can I get the PDF and then send it to print? How can I get the PDF from a report?

Some printers support an “Email-to-Print” feature, where a printer is assigned an email address and will automatically print attachments it receives from authorized email addresses.

In theory, you could configure a Business Event with an action trigger that sends a notification template containing the document as an attachment directly to the printer’s email address. See the wiki documentation for attaching reports to notification templates here.

This approach would primarily be limited by where the Business Event action trigger can be configured. For example, it would not be available directly on the Sales Order screen, but it could be implemented on the Sales Orders list screen or other supported inquiry screens.

As @mohammadnawaz51 mentioned, a customization would likely be the best and cleanest approach for meeting these simple requirements. Attempting to solve this natively with Business Events would almost certainly be less reliable and more difficult to manage
