Hello everyone,

Maybe I am overlooking things here, but is it possible to add a mask to omit or not display an account in a certain range of accounts?

For example let’s say I have account class 500 on my chart of accounts with accounts:

500000

500010

500020

500043

500057

500081

500100

and I want to show all accounts between and including 500000 and 500100 but I do not wish to see 500043 on my report. Is there a mask or would I be better off creating 2 rows, starting 500000 ending 500020 and then another row starting 500057 ending 500100?

Thanks

Hi @podonnell11

As you mentioned, creating two rows with only GL accounts to be visible is the only option in this case. I don't see a way of excluding random GL accounts from a range of GL accounts on Data source on ARM row set.

Hope this clarifies,

Regards,

@podonnell11 have you heard of Velixo? I received a similar enhancement request from another customer and we added the ability to exclude specific accounts or ranges of accounts from an account class. It helps make the report cleaner:

In the example above, i’m including account class “SALES”, except accounts 40010 and 40020.

This is something Acumatica could implement as well in ARM, you can make the suggestion in the Ideas section.
