Linking SOShipLineSplit to POOrder

I’ve built a report that pulls shipped item information from shipments for forecasting purposes.  I’m trying to link my existing tables to POOrder through POLine (ShipLineSplit to POLine on InventoryID) but am receiving grossly inflated shipped numbers.  Any ideas on how to solve this?  I’ve pasted a snapshot of my current relationships.

Without the PO tables, the report works like a charm but I’m trying to exclude certain PO quantities (bulk / special orders) from a field that displays InSiteStatus.QtyPOOrders.  Thanks.

I’m a little confused what you’re expecting to see. If your join is only on InventoryID, if you have two shipments and two POs using the same InventoryID, you’re going to see four resulting lines instead of two (which might be what you’re expecting). This will inflate exponentially.

Daryl,

I figured that was what was happening but I can’t think of a work around to prevent the duplications.  I’ll play with a copy of the report and see if I can figure it out in my spare time.

Could you try to explain what you’re hoping to see? Are you trying to determine if you are purchasing enough product to fulfil your shipments?
