Hello. I need a resulting statistic that shows me Inventory Turnover Ratio: (This measures how efficiently you sell through your inventory.)

Has anybody done this yet on an acumatica dashboard, and if so, can you share the method here? Please and thank you

Hi @GavinWorsley ,

There is a standard Inquiry screen to calculate the Turnover Ratio: IN407010.  This was added in 2022 R2.

Hope this helps!

Hi @GavinWorsley ,

I just wanted to add that you can schedule the process to calculate the turnover.  The results are stored in the DAC TurnoverCalcItem which can be used as the basis for a dashboard widget.  Hope this helps!

Hello @lauraj46

before I struggle trying to find the other reports I need, may be yourself or others have already found answers to the following:

  • Customer Retention Rate - I would like to track this on a dashboard
  • Days Sales of Inventory (DSI) - I would like to track this as a KPI against a target
  • Return on Investment (ROI) - Which I believe is going to be the Net Profit / Assets and Cash

Hi @GavinWorsley ,

Days Sales of Inventory (DSI) is the inverse of Turnover Ratio (1/[Turnover Ratio])*365

I’m not aware of standard inquiries for customer retention or ROI.

Maybe someone else on this board has thoughts on these @TimRodman @Laura02?

Hello @GavinWorsley ,

I recommend starting a new post for your additional questions - only Laura and Laura & Tim are likely to see this post.

Certainly, Return on Investment can be calculated using Financial Reports (ARM Reports in Finance module). Existing P & L reports will show you Net Profit - copy a P & L Row Set, add Assets & Cash section, then divide  Net Profit / Assets and Cash . Hide every row you don’t need.

Using Google, I found a formula for Customer Retention Rate. How do you measure customers at end of a period of time versus the beginning of a period of time?  It seems like it’s more than just count of active customers in Acumatica. Are you looking for customers who ordered more than once in a given period of time?
