Hello,

Is it possible to access the next record in an inquiry? For example, I am build a generic inquiry to show where items are production orders and I want to get the next work center from the AMBomOper DAC. Is this possible?

Thanks,

Hi @DoShawhan ,

There are next and previous functions in the Report Designer, however I’m not aware of any such functionality on a GI.

Do you know where detailed Documentation is existing on this?
I only found the below:

This is not working at all on a Report for a MFG Label. It just brings back blank values for the next Work center or for the next Operation ID/CD

Hi @krausef77 ,

I don’t know of any additional documentation.  Also, I’m not sure why the documentation lists two input parameters.

An example of the typical usage can be found in the standard report IN619200.rpx, which prints labels in two columns across.  These functions return the next or previous value from the record set. If it’s not working, you could troubleshoot by displaying all of the details and verifying your joins and sort.

Hope this helps!
