Hello Community,

I have a report designer report that a manager has asked me to set up so he can search a range of accounts.  This report shows the different accounting accounts, and he would like to have it show him like 3 or so accounts at a time instead of pulling each account one at a time.

In general, I haven’t seen even a GI that can search multiple accounts at once.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Thank you!

Trisha

Hi @tveld! It sounds like a parameter indicating OR between each conditional setting relating to the parameter gathering the accounts.

If there are 3 account parameters specified on the GI then the user should be able to fill these in with accounts and display the relevant details in the GI.

The question mentions Report Designer, then at the end transitions to GI, is it a report or a GI which is being built?

I think either way it shouldn’t matter as long as the parameters and conditions are set correctly to only display data for accounts plugged into the parameters.

That being said though, I really have no idea what kind of data you’re looking to show, but I’m certain that the account parameters should work.

@BenjaminCrisman ,

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your help.  I am working in Report Designer, and I was able to get it so I could show multiple accounts.

I just have a few other changes on the report that I am making, and it should be good.

Thank you again for your pointers!
